The |New Action| button can be used to create a new task, appointment, or all day event for specific contacts within the current search result or the entire search result.
Creating a New Task
To create a new task, do the following:

The |Is Private| option is used to override Accelerator users who
have been given rights to view all Action data. By default,
your Action data is accessible only by you and people you have
selected to be proxy to you.
To view your new task entry, click the |Actions Tab| located in the Personal Dashboard. Here you can view or edit the actions for your contact. You can also view the actions of your proxies (people you share contact data with) by clicking on any user that appears under |Other User Action Items| section.
