Accelerator Enterprise Mailer

The Accelerator Enterprise Mailer application is used to create an organized mailing and distribution process for enterprise wide holiday cards, announcements, and invitations. To use this feature, do the following.  From the |Tools| menu in the Accelerator application select |Enterprise Mailer|New Mailer Wizard|. The New Mailer Wizard will open.

  1. From step 1 of the Mailer Wizard (shown above), select a name for the mailer folder.  This folder will appear in the Contact Folder List as a Root Level Folder.  Click the |Next| button to continue.

  1. From  Step 2 of the Mailer Wizard (shown above) you may optionally select a cut-off date.  The cut-off date is displayed to inform users of how much time they have to contribute to the mailer.  Click the |Next| button to continue.

The cut-off date will not prevent users from contributing to the list after the cut-off until access privileges to the list have been terminated by an Accelerator Administrator.

  1. From Step 3 in the Mailer Wizard (shown above) select the users that will assist you in administering the mailer. Mailer Administrators have the ability to print mailer reports, labels, and mailer folders.  Administrators will also have the root level folder by the name given to the mailer.  In our example, that name would be "Xmas Mailer".  Click the |Next| button to continue.

  1. From Step 4 of the Mailer Wizard (shown  above), select the users that will have their own shared folder for contributing contacts to the mailer.  Users who's signatures are required for the mailers should receive their own folder.  Click the |Next| button to continue

  1. From Step 5 of the Mailer Wizard (shown above), you may select users to whom you wish to share the Mailer Folder.   All users selected in Step 4 are automatically selected in step 5.  Users checked in step 5 will be given a shared Mailer Folder located within their |Folders Shared to Me| Contact List where they can then contribute contacts to the mailer list.  Click the |Next| button to continue.

  1. From Step 6 of the Mailer Wizard (shown above), select those users who's proxies will also contribute to the mailer.  To view a users proxies, highlight the user and click the |Show Proxies of User| button.  The selected user's proxies will have a mailer folder under |Folders Shared to Me| by the name of the mailer (in this example the shared folder name would be "Xmas Mailer").    Click the |Next| button to continue.

  1. From Step 7 of the Mailer Wizard (shown above), you may select one additional user per folder (remember that each user on the left, represents a folder that will be created in the mailer).  To view proxies of the user, click the |Show Proxies of Users| button.  Click the |Next| button to continue.

After creation of the mailer, you may edit the mailer by selecting |Tools|Enterprise Mailer|Edit Mailer|.

  1. From Step 8 of the Mailer Wizard (shown above), you prioritize the users in order of highest to lowest priority.  A user with the highest priority will have the least amount of work to do.  This is because the highest priority user signs first and does not need to move from bundle to bundle.  Click the |Next| button to continue.

  1. From Step 9 of the Mailer Wizard (Shown Above), a summary of the selected settings is presented.  Click the |Finish| button to create the mailer.  The follow folders will appear in all administrator Contact Folder lists.  Notice too, that the Shared Folder contains the user Mailer Folder.  This is where Accelerator users chosen to contribute to the mailer will add there contacts.
