Add To Contact Activity Log

The |Add To Contact Activity Log| option is used to track information for specific contacts within Accelerator.  For instance, you may wish to track a group of contacts that have been sent invoices via email.  To use the |Add To Contact Activity Log| feature, do the following:

  1. Select a group of contacts from the Accelerator application.
     
  2. Click the |Tools| menu and select the |Add To Contact Activity Log| option.  The following screen will appear:
     

     
  3. Type in a description in the track description field or select a default description from the drop down box.
     
  4. From the  |Contract to Add this Log item to| section, select the appropriate option.  You may either add the log description to the highlighted contact, or all contacts within the search result.   Click |OK| to save your settings.
 


Viewing the Track Log


To view the track log do the following:

  1. Right click on any of the contacts from the current search result for which you have selected to track
  2.  
  3. From the menu select |Edit Contact|.  The Edit Entry screen will appear.
     
  4. Select the |Log| tab which will display the log information (shown below).
