Contacts in the Accelerator current search
result can be sorted a number of ways. To use the sort by
option, do the following:
- Search the Accelerator application for some contacts.
- Click the Search Result
column you would like to Sortby and click the |Sort|
button.
- You may also select the |Results| menu, select |Sort by|,
the following screen will appear displaying the default sort by
lists.
- Select from any of
the default sort by choices or click the |Show
the Advanced Sort Options| button to display additional options
(shown below)
- From the advanced sort by option screen you may select to
sort data on three levels in either ascending or descending
alphabetical order. In the example above, we have selected to
sort data on two levels as this is a very common sorting
action. Our example will sort contact data first by the
contacts zip code, when and if a contact is encountered containing
the same zip code they will be sorted by company, and finally jif
contacts are encountered containing the same Zip and Company, they
will be sorted by last name. The example below shows a list
sorted by this method:
