Report User Guide Problems and Errors

Custom fields are user defined fields such as Date of Birth, Account Number, etc.  You can group copy data from one custom field to another using the |Group Copy Custom Fields| feature within the |Results| menu of the phone book.  To use this function, do the following:

1. From the Accelerator phone book search for a list of contacts whose custom field values you would like to modify.
    
2. From the Results menu in the phone book, select |Group Copy Custom Fields|.  Select the field on the left from which to copy data, and the field on the right where you would like the data to be copied.  If the field to 'Copy To' contains data, you can select the 'Overwrite any Existing Data' option to replace any information already in the field.  Click the |Copy Button| to begin the operation.
   
   
    
3. After you copy information from one field to another, you may want to clear the data from the previous field.  To do so, from the |Results| menu select |Group Clear Field|.  Select the field to clear and click the |Clear| button to proceed.
