Group Email Domain Change

The domain portion of an email address is the value that appears after the @ symbol in an email address.  You can globally change the domain portion of an email address in the Accelerator database by using the Group Email Domain Change feature located in the |Results| menu of the phone book.  To use this feature, do the following:

The Group Email Domain Change feature will work on either the contacts in the Accelerator current search result, or on the entire database.

  1. Search the Accelerator phone book for the contacts containing the domain name portion of the email address you would like to change.  You can most effectively accomplish this by switching to 'Advanced Search Mode', 'Modifying Your Search Criteria' to include email address, and searching for the domain portion of the email address such as aol.com etc.

  2. From the |Results| menu within the Accelerator phone book, select |Group Email Domain Change|.  Enter a value on the left that you want to change, and what you want it changed to on the right, and select to perform the operation on the current search result or the entire database.

Changes will affect all email addresses within a contact, i.e, business, home, etc.
