Public documents are those documents created via the Accelerator menu (Accelerator Macro Suite) within your word processor and saved as a public (shared) document. These documents can then be used by other Office Accelerator users via Accelerator menu.  The Public Documents Path is typically a UNC path which directs the Office Accelerator client software to the shared public document path location typically on a file server.  To set this path on an Client, select |Preferences|Public Document Path| and use the browse button to navigate to the appropriate directory (typically \\AccNet\Acc\docs\public.acc. 

In a network environment it is possible to change the public document path for each Office Accelerator client within a domain using Group Policy and Active Directory.  The following registry key should be modified to include the appropriate UNC path for each client.  You should consult an MCSE or equivalent IT person if you are not familiar with Group Policies and Active Directory.
