The fax and dialer format settings are used to configure your dialer to your specific needs.  The Fax & Dialer options are explained below:
 

Phone Information Section

Use the are the phone information section to specify local country code and local area code.  Doing so will prevent the

Fax Options
 

The fax phone type is used to change the default name FAX, that Accelerator uses to locate fax numbers in a contact.  For instance, Accelerator will check a list of phone types in a particular contact until it reaches the phone type FAX.  You may wish to use Facsimile as your fax description in which case you would need to indicate that name in the above fax phone type field.

Dialer Information
 

Use the Dialing Information section to customize how Accelerator handles dialing and faxing numbers.

Local Prefixes
 

Use the Local Prefixes section to designate local prefixes within your area.

Special Area Codes
 

Use the special area codes section to designate special area codes.
