Remove Contact(s) From Folder or List

To remove contacts from a folder or list, do the following:
 

  1. Search for all contacts in the folder or list that you would like to remove contacts from.
     
  2.  Highlight the contact in the current search result you would like remove from the folder or list.
  1. From the |Folders| or |Contact| menu, select |Remove Contacts From Folder or List|.
  1. Click |YES| to confirm removal of contacts.

  1. You can remove multiple contacts from a folder or list by first checking those contacts in the current search result you would like to remove.  You can select all contacts using the |Check All Contacts| option located in the |Results| menu, or by using the button on the Current Search Result Tool Bar (shown below)


 

  1. From the Accelerator menu select |Folders|Remove Contacts From Folder or List| and the following message will appear.  To remove all checked contacts from the folder or list, click the |All Checked Contacts| button.   



Removing a contact or contacts from a folder or list does NOT delete the contact from the database.  Rather, it is removed only from the selected folder or list.
