| Assign Contact Owner |
Ownership of contacts is a very
important function of the Accelerator application, providing users
with the ability to share and lock contact information to the
appropriate Accelerator owners and proxies (Accelerator users that
share access to contacts you own) . The following functions
allow for changes in contact ownership and will be available to a
limited number of users e.g. Accelerator Administrators and
Accelerator users given specific contact ownership control rights.
Such rights are set by an Accelerator system administrator within
the Accelerator Administration utility.
Assign Selected Contact Owner to Me: Use this option to set the owner of the highlighted contact to yourself.
Assign Selected Contact Owner to No Owner: Use this option to set the owner of the highlighted contact to No Owner. Setting a contact to No Owner will allow an Accelerator administrator to control contact access level, edit the contact, and delete No Owner contacts.
