User Right Settings

User Rights can be modified per each Accelerator user to enhance or limit the functionality of each user account. This can be useful to prevent some Accelerator users from accessing features such as 'Group Deleting Contacts' while allowing other users access to such features. To access the Accelerator user right settings, login to the Accelerator phone book and select File|Adminstrator|User Right Settings|. To modify a users rights, highlight the appropriate user and click the |Modify| button. You can copy a users rights to other users by using the |Copy Rights| button. A summary of Accelerator user rights appear below and can be customized for each Accelerator user:

User has Read-Only Rights to Contact Data: Read-Only users will be assigned the following: rights:
- Not Allowed to Edit Contacts
Standard User: Standard Users will have the following rights:
- Allow the User to Add Document Links to a Contact
- Delete Contacts Owned by the User or Proxies
- Set Access Levels for Contacts Owned or Proxied
- User Decides if the Inbox Should be Displayed on Startup
- Be the Owner When Creating a New Contact
Power User: Power Users will be assigned the following rights:
- Create New Categories and Subcategories
- Be the Owner When Creating a New Contact
- Allow group address changes
- Allow group phone changes
- Allow the user to add document links to a contact (Standard User Right)
- Delete contacts owned by user or proxies (Standard User Right)
- Set access level for contacts owned or proxied (Standard User Right)
- Create new public folders
- Delete public folders created by the user or proxies
- User decides if the Inbox should be displayed on startup
- Create new lists under public folders with full access
- Delete list in public folders if the list or folder is created by the user or proxies
- Rename lists under public folders with full access
- Create new public documents
- Enable Duplicate Contact Merge Features
