User Guide Problems and Errors
The Multiple Envelopes option is used to
automatically merge multiple contact data from Accelerator into an
envelope format of your choice. To use this feature, do the
following:

Open your
word processor and select the Accelerator menu. From the
menu, choose |Multiple Envelopes| (Shown Below), the Accelerator
application will open.

Search for the contacts
that you would like to create envelopes for, than click the
|Continue Envelopes| button (shown below).

The Multiple Envelope screen is used to create
the Envelopes for merging to your word processor. There are 8
sections that you may use to customize your Envelopes. Below
each section is described.

Envelope Format: Accelerator ships
with predefined Envelope formats (templates). In this example, we
will use a standard size 10 Envelope format. The following is
a list of the available formats, to create your own template, see
Create and Edit an Envelope
Template.

Note: Use this option to specify any special notes such as air
mail, certified, etc..
- Mailer Endorsement: Use this option to specify
mailer endorsements such as address correction requested, do not
forward, etc.
- Printing your Return Address: Use this option to
specify how and which return address to print.
- Recipient Name Format: Use this to specify the
recipient name format, e.g., First, Last, or Last, First etc.
- Value to Include for Recipients Address: Use
this section to select the appropriate values to add to the
recipients address.
- Printing Format Options: Use this section to select
to print your envelope with all caps (per postal regulation) and/or
with a bar-code (usually used for bulk mailing, check with your
local Post Master for details).
- Log Document Tracking: Use this section to select
the document tracking option. Document tracking will appear in the
log section of each contact selected for a multiple envelope
operation. You can also view the log items within the
personal dashboard
(show below).

Once you have made your selections, click the
|Continue| button. The following screen will appear: You may
select the following merge destination for your Multiple
Envelopes:
- Print the Envelopes to your default
printer
- Display the Envelopes in your Word
Processor
- Select to create documents for all listed
contacts (all contacts in the current search result)
- Select to create documents for a specified
range of contacts.
Printing to Default Printer
To print your Envelopes to the default
printer, select the |Print to Default Printer| option and click the
|Continue| button. The Envelopes will be sent to your
printer. (To change your default printer settings, select the
|Change Printer Selection| button and choose an alternate
printer.
Display in Word Processor
The Display in Word Processor option will
merge the data to your word processor in the form of a
document. The data can be viewed, manipulated, saved, and
printed. The following is an example of Envelopes using the
display option with a size 10 envelope (4-1/8 x 9-1/2).
