To use this feature, open the Accelerator application. This feature will search the Accelerator database on the highlighted text from any windows based application.  The tool bar button operates in the following manner:

• Left Clicking will search the highlighted text by last name.

• Holding Down the Right or Left Mouse Button will present a drop down menu providing addtional search options.

The following example will search the Accelerator database by the highlighted text in a Word document

1. In the below screen shot we have highlighted some text in a Microsoft Word document.

2. Next we have Right Clicked our mouse on the |Search on Highlighted Text| button   and selected the company option.

3. The Accelerator application opens and searches the database by the highlighted company name (Baseline Data Systems, Inc.).  The results of the search will be displayed in the current search result screen (shown below).
