Integrating the CIT to Other Applications

 

Contact Integration Technology (CIT) provides the ability to program custom scripts that integrate to specific applications.  The following scripts are included with the Accelerator application.



Setting up a CIT Module
  1. Hold your right mouse button down on the CIT help icon .  From the menu, choose |Software Selection| , the following screen will appear:
  1. For our example, we will use QuickBooks 2004 which we have selected from available applications.  

Using a CIT Module
  1. Open QuickBooks and select the |New Vender| option.
     
  1. From the CIT tool bar, hold down your right or left mouse button on the |Get a Contact from the Accelerator Phone Book| button.  From the menu select the |QuickBooks New Vender| option (shown below)
  2. The Accelerator application will appear.  Search for the contact you would like to include as a New Vender than click the |Send Data| Button.

     
  1. Accelerator will send the data to the QuickBooks New Vender screen.
     

Similarly, you can use the same method to fill other QuickBooks screens and/or other applications.
