| Search Formats |
To search for a contact in the Accelerator phone book, enter a value into a search field and click the search button. You can search on any field both (custom and default) in Accelerator.

Fast Search will limit the number of contacts returned on a query
by displaying a maximum of 500 contacts in the search result.
To display more then 500 contacts, turn off Fast Search.
Accelerator provides 3 search modes, and you can switch between
these modes by selecting |Preferences|Toggle Advanced Search Mode|
from within the phone book. The following search modes are
available.

Searches are not case sensitive.
Searching by 'Create' or 'Last Edit' Date
From the Preferences Menu,
select |Customize Search Criteria|. Change the search
criteria to
a field you would like to search on, typically Create Date or Last
Edit Date. Click |Done| to save
your settings.

Note, after searching by date, or last edit, you
can sort the data by either criteria by
selecting |Results|Sortby| and choosing the appropriate 'sortby'
option.

The Accelerator Advanced Search
options provide a much easier method of advanced search and should
be used in place of the following text field syntax.
| Any with exact value | "Accelerator" |
| Any NOT with exact value | !"Accelerator" |
| Any ending with rator | *"rator" |
| Any NOT ending with rator | !*"rator" |
| Any starting with Acc | "Acc"* |
| Any NOT starting with Acc | !"Acc"* |
