How to Reset the Accelerator Mobile Sync

Overview

Resetting the Accelerator Mobile Sync. will delete the local Accelerator database that was created on the initial Accelerator Mobile Sync. setup.  Any changes made to this local copy of the database will be permanently lost.  Once reset, a new instance of the Accelerator Mobile Sync can be created for the given Accelerator user.  You must be an Accelerator Administrator to reset the mobile sync, if you are not, you should contact your Accelerator Administrator, or Accelerator Support.


To reset the Accelerator Mobile Sync, do the following:

  1. Log into the Accelerator Phone book.
     
  2. Click File|Administrator|User Rights Settings| and select the user for whom you are resetting the Mobile Sync, then click the |Modify| button. 
     
  3. From the User Rights screen, click the Mobile Sync Tab and then the |Advanced Options| button.


     
  4. Click |Yes| to reset the Mobile Sync


     
  5. Click the |Save| button, then Done.
     
  6. Exit the phone book.
     
  7. To setup the Accelerator Mobile Sync once again, follow the directions using the URL below.
